Jerry Harris

Jerry Lee Harris, born April 12,1948, passed away at his home in Winchester, Oregon on

October 13, 2025. He was survived by his loving wife Lauren Schroeder, son Henry Harris of

Eugene, and granddaughter Mourning Sky Harris of Portland.

Prior to moving to Winchester with Lauren, Jerry lived in Lookingglass, Oregon for 12 years and

was actively involved on the Board for the Lookingglass Grange and the Fire Department, and

was an active member of the Umpqua Valley Havurah. Jerry loved gardening and was

passionate about promoting the Native Plant Society of Douglas County. He was a competitive

table tennis player and initiated such a club at the local YMCA. Jerry’s Celebration of Life will be

held at The Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Hucrest at 2167 NW Watters Street, Saturday

November 22nd, at 2:00 PM.
