Bruce Spriggs

Robert "Bruce" Spriggs: 73, passed away on 11/29/25 from natural causes at his home in Roseburg, Oregon. His family moved in 1968 from Norfolk, VA, where he was born on December 3, 1951, to St Petersburg, FL, where Bruce received his first set of drums in his teens. Bruce had a lifelong passion for music and was always down for a jam session with fellow musicians. He was a resident and member of the Roseburg community for well over 30 years. Bruce was well known as a kind and compassionate soul who believed in the goodness of people and would help anyone in need. He was the owner of Hi 5 Music & Sound in Roseburg before he retired in 2018. Bruce was pre deceased by his mother, Patricia Spriggs, his brother Rick Burress, and is survived by his sister, Kandy Burress, who lives in Florida, as well as all of his friends in Florida and Roseburg. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bruce will be laid to rest in St. Petersburg, FL. 

There will be a memorial held for Bruce on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Pearson's Funeral Home from 2pm to 4pm. In remembrance of Bruce, we ask that you plant a tree in his memory.
